mother's day

Saturday, Tres took me out to dinner. We went to the Macaroni Grill, and had some really sucky lobster ravioli. It was horrible! But Tres kept making me laugh, so I couldn't eat that much anyways! THen we stopped by one of his friends going away party at a bar. I knew the guy too, and had played Halo with him, so it was cool. Since Tres was driving, I took all his shots for him. I had Jaeger for the first time, and it was nasty! I had to follow it with some Jack to get the taste out of my mouth! Afterwards, we went to get some things for mother's day breakfast, and Tres bought me a bracelet. No flowers, but that's ok. I also told him I don't want roses anymore, they are a bit too predictible and you get charged an arm and an asshole for them! Since he was tired, we then went home and went to bed.

The next morning, Andre came in my bedroom and wished me a happy birthday! Tres was even coaching him to say mother's day, but it was still cute! Tres made me funnel cake with strawberries on top. He also cleaned the house and took care of the boys, which was nice, although I could tell they sort of annoyyed him! We were gonna go putt putt golfing, but the Scandia was closed for business! So we tried to go to the creepy zoo, but that had closed for the day! Although, we did see some wild turkeys outside of the zoo! So then, we tried to Children's Museum, but we were pretty disapointed with Las Vegas at that time, so we went to the galleria to just walk around. Unfortunately, by the time we got there, they were closing! SO we just ended up going to DQ and then home again. It was still a nice day, Andre made Grant laugh so hard he couldn't even scream! Both boys were being extrememly cute too!

Well, 4 days ago was my youngest's first birthday! He had a great day, which made it a great day for me since there was no screaming! We went to Toys R Us and let him pick out a couple of toys, and bought a wagon for both of the boys to use! I made East Coast North Carolina BBQ pork, red mashed potatos, and baked a cake. The food was delish, unfortunatly baby didn't have any! But I bet he would have liked it! We let him play with his toys, and his Granpa J called to wish him a happy day. He talked a bit, (read: squealed), and opened his gift from his Auntie Alicia and fam. Since he still is a baby, he had to stop to take a nap. Which gave me time to decorate the cake! Andre helped; he had previously picked out spongebob squarepants candies! Once baby woke up, we sang happy birthday and Andre helped blow out the candles for his bro. Everyone had cake and ice cream, but I think Grant enjoyed it the most!
